Minty has never had any animated appearances, nor was she in the UK comic books. She does have an entry in the UK fact file, where her body is incorrectly colored purple.

In the US she was also in several mail order brochures which told simple stories of Minty and the other Collector ponies meeting various other ponies (the Birthflower ponies in one brochure and Satin 'n Lace in another.

My Little Pony is a pretty pony with long, shiny hair. She likes you to comb her hair so it stays silky and soft. You can braid her tail and tie it in a ribbon too!

UK Factfile Story

Over the hawthorn hedge Minty had spotted a large patch of her favourite mint. She knelt down to smell the delicious aroma, nibbled a leaf and then lay right down in it - rolling over and over, until her while body smelled of mint too.

Minty had 2 versions in Brazil, the ponies looks exactly the same, green pony with flat feet, light blue eyes, white mane, white tail and eleven clovers as symbol. Frist edition, released in 1983, come with an outfit and had one row of mane plugs. Second edition, released in 1984, come without outfits and have two rows of mane plugs. Both version come with a green comb.

Spanish Piggy Minty

The Spanish Minty is a piggy pony. The manufacturers Brekar and Milton Bradley each made their own version. The Brekar version, called Menta (mint in Spanish), is like the collector pose Minty. The MB version, Manzanita, which means little apples, has a darker green body and brown butterscotch hair.
