In My Little Pony: A New Generation, Ruddy Sparks is a stage manager who works the lights and wires when Pipp Petals performs.
Sunny Starscout and Izzy Moonbow stumble into his booth while he's working, which terrified him despite Izzy's reassurances that she wasn't there to "zap his brains." He scrambled onto his equipment, hitting buttons at random and causing the lights and wires to go crazy. This culminated in the citizens of Zephyr Heights discovering that the pegasus Royal Family couldn't fly.
In various episodes of Chapter 4 of My Little Pony: Make Your Mark, Ruddy can be seen operating cameras.
