US Backcard Story
Princess Sunbeam watched the grey clouds gather in the sky. Inside the castle, the ponies sadly put aside their plan to join the Princess Ponies for a tea party in the courtyard. Princess Sunbeam called upon her magic to save the day for her friends. She sent sunbeams from her medallion and pushed the grey clouds beyond the farthest hills, until the sky was bright blue. The ponies cheered at the beautiful day created for them with Princess Sunbeam's royal magic.

Princess Sunbeam Variant I

This is a UK variant in regular colors, but with a curly tail with no tinsel in it. Also, the red gemstone in her symbol is slightly oval instead of perfectly round.
Princess Sunbeam Variant II
- pink tail, no tinsel in tail
This is a UK variant who has a pink tail without any tinsel instead of her usual tail. Also, the red gemstone in her symbol is slightly oval instead of perfectly round.
Princess Sunbeam Variant III (Sun Ruby)
- Princess Ruby's body and symbol without medaillon
- Princess Sunbeam's hair/silver tinsel in tail
This is a UK variant who is actually a hybrid between Princess Ruby and Princess Sunbeam. She consists of Princes Ruby's body with Princess Sunbeam's head along with a matching tail in Princess Sunbeams yellow hair color. She has silver tinsel in her tail however instead of fuchsia like regular Princess Sunbeam would have. She has a translucent yellow butterfly with a red centre on her rump instead of the metallic medallion seen on 'regular' Princess Ponies.
