This article is about Generation 1 Rainbow Ponies. For "Generation 3 Rainbow Ponies", see G3 Rainbow Ponies. |
Rainbow Ponies debuted in Year Two and remain one of the most popular sets of G1 ponies. Each pony has a quad-colored striped mane and blended tail. While the standard released Year Two and Year Three Rainbow Ponies have glitter symbols, many other ponies released outside of North America have metallic or normal inked symbols.

My Little Pony, Rainbow Ponies,
Beautiful ponies with rainbow hair.
My Little Pony, Rainbow Ponies,
Rainbow colors everywhere.
Starshine, and Windy, Moonstone, and Sunlight,
Parasol, and Skydancer too.
My Little Pony, Rainbow Ponies,
They're like a dream come true.
