About Italian My Little Pony

Italian ponies were licensed for distribution to DAG until production switched to standard Hong Kong or China releases in 1987. All Italian ponies have blue eyes, and many Collectors Pose ponies have airbrushed eyes that are distinct to DAG-produced ponies. Foot stamps may vary between only two or all four feet stamped and the presence or absence of "PAT PEND," but a carved-appearance "ITALY" is always present in Italian-made ponies. While only the first few years of North American released characters were produced in Italy, there are many unique variations to collect.[1]


Italian company Furga also produced three Collectors Pose ponies in blue, pink, and yellow, all with Cotton Candy's symbol, under the moniker "Il mio piccolo Pony."
