Thunder is a G5 pony who appears in My Little Pony: A New Generation and My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale. He is a guard in the pegasus city, Zephyr Heights.

In My Little Pony: A New Generation, Thunder is a guard who is rattled when he and Zoom Zephyrwing come across Sunny Starscout and Izzy Moonbow. Despite his initial fears about earth ponies and unicorns, he is the friendlier of the two guards, happy to answer Sunny's questions about pegasus ponies and to tell her that he collects sneakers. He is shorter than Zoom.
Zoom and Thunder take Sunny and Izzy to Queen Haven. Later when the pegasus royal family is wanted for being "phony ponies full of baloney", Zoom and Thunder show up in Bridlewood to arrest Queen Haven. But she convinces them to instead accompany her to Maretime Bay, where are present to witness Sunny bringing magic back to Equestria.
After magic is restored, Thunder and Zoom attend Zipp's flight school (or, as she puts it, one time training) to become better fliers.
His voice actress in Tell Your Tale is Athena Karkanis.
