UK Baby Pony Play and Care Leaflet 1984

Year Three brought adorable new Baby Ponies. Worldwide distribution is debated. In the US and Canada, they are a set of six, simply called "Baby Ponies." In the UK, they are a set of only three, with one baby exclusive to the country. There, they are called the "Baby Pony Play and Care" set. The rest of Europe may have sold a combination of the two.

There are six new baby ponies in this set – two earth ponies, two pegasus ponies, and two unicorns. These babies are all daughters of previously released ponies, and all bear resemblance to their mothers. They each sport a modified version of their mother's symbol – baby unicorns and pegasus ponies with glitter symbols – and may have a lighter hair color. The baby unicorns also feature a mane stripe, like their mothers.

Lyrics are as follows, sung to the familiar tune:

Baby Cotton Candy, Baby Glory, Baby Moondancer, and Baby Surprise are all featured in the second animated special, Escape from Catrina, with Baby Moondancer being a main character.


Each baby pony includes a B-A-B-Y ID necklace, diaper and diaper box, teddy bear brush, round, puffy sticker, ribbon, bottle, and Birthflower Ponies order form. Each also includes one of each from the list below:

UK Baby Pony Backcard

The UK babies are a set of three earth ponies. These babies are all daughters of previously released ponies, and all bear resemblance to their mothers. They each sport a modified version of their mother's symbol and may have a lighter hair color. Baby Applejack is the only baby in the set that did not see a North American release.



Each baby pony includes a B-A-B-Y ID necklace, nappy and nappy box, teddy bear brush, round, puffy sticker, ribbon, and bottle. Each also includes one of each from the list below:
