Common Ponies

Common Ponies (on this site), refers to the most common version of a G1 pony that was released. This generally encompasses the ponies sold in both North America and Europe.

The Nirvana ponies are particular versions of ponies that were limited to either distribution or production within one country or geographic area. That is Italian Ponies are ponies who have a hoof stamp that says ITALY, but were sold not only in Italy but in several other European countries as well. Thus you can have an "Italian Pony" with German language packaging.

European Ponies

European Ponies (on this site) refers to G1 ponies that were not available in the Americas, but were widely available in many European countries, including the UK.

The G1 Exclusive Ponies page includes both these ponies, and ponies that were available in just one or two European countries, but generally not in North America at all.
