Discord

Discord is a G4 Character, who appeared as a villain on the TV show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

Media Appearances

Discord first appears in The Return of Harmony: Part 1 and Part 2. He is a draconequus, with his body made up of the parts of different species. He is presented as a spirit of chaos and disharmony, who ruled Equestria 1000 years before and made ponies lives horrible. He was originally overthrown by Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, who then became rulers of Equestria. He is accidentally freed 1000 years later, managing to temporarily corrupt Twilight Sparkle and her friends to prevent them from defeating him with the Elements of Harmony. After remembering the Friendship Lessons and seeing through his manipulation, he was turned back into a statue.

Discord reappeared in the episode Keep Calm and Flutter On, where the Mane Six are tasked with reforming him. Only Fluttershy is able to do so, due to her genuine kindness and offers of friendship.

Discord is voiced by John De Lancie.
