The Christmas Giant is a recurring character in the G1 comic books. Every year he traveled to Ponyland, carrying the Land of Christmas on his back. The Land of Christmas contained the Pixie Market, where the ponies could buy presents from Yewi the toymaker, as well as the Christmas Grotto, where the Christmas Giant lived with his wife Drusilla, his daughter Vervain, and his granddaughter Rose.
