He is a playful and mischievous baby dragon who is Hitch Trailblazer's adopted son.

Sparky Sparkeroni was introduced in the first episode of My Little Pony: Make Your Mark. His egg was found washed up on the beach of Maretime Bay by Hitch Trailblazer. When his egg hatched, Hitch immediately felt a connection to the baby dragon, and adopted him as his son. Sparky would be the target of the evil alicorn Opaline Arcana for much of Make Your Mark and Tell Your Tale, with Misty Brightdawn attempting to kidnap him.
His dragon fire has the magic of transformation.
