Scootaloo is a young pegasus pony known for her tomboyishness and energetic nature. She idealizes Rainbow Dash, and has adopted her as an unofficial mentor. She attends Ponyville's school, and is close friends with with Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom. Like Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom, she does not have her cutie mark yet, and formed the Cutie Mark Crusaders with them, with the goal of finding their unique talents and earning their cutie marks. However, Scootaloo is implied to be talented at tasks that involve agility and coordination, but is not aware of it yet. Unlike many other Pegasi her age, Scootaloo is unable to fly; it is implied that this inability to fly is due to Scootaloo having undersized wings for her bodysize. While it is left open whether she will fly or not, Scootaloo has shown to be ability to use her wings to propel her scooter.
Scootaloo is voiced by Madeleine Peters.
