Shining Armor is a G4 Unicorn Pony. He is a supporting character in the TV show, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Shining Armor has been released in toy form on several occasions, and is the first male pony in Generation 4 to be released as a brushable figure.

Shining Armor was introduced in "A Canterlot Wedding: Part 1", as the older brother of Twilight Sparkle. Growing up in Canterlot, he was very close to Twilight, and she considered him one of her only friends at the time. He eventually became Captain of the Royal Guard, but grew apart from Twilight when she relocated to Equestria. In the Season Two finale, he marries Princess Cadance, Princess Celestia's adopted niece. At a later point, he relocated with Cadance to the Crystal Empire, which he helps her rule. As a unicorn, Shining Armor is shown to use his unicorn magic to create large, powerful force fields.
Shining Armor is voiced by Andrew Francis.

Shining Armor was included as a Blind Bag sized figurine in the Pony Wedding Set alongside Princess Cadance and Twilight Sparkle.
Crystal Fashion Style Princess Cadance and Shining Armor
Shining Armor was released as a Fashion Style Sized Pony packaged with Princess Cadance. In addition to various wedding accessories, Shining Armor came with a military uniform that could be used to dress him.
