The seller I bought her from said she herself had bought her from eBay 6 years previous. Unfortunately the re-hair was not mentioned, although I am guessing the seller I bought from did not know. Sorry if this is not the place to reply - not had a message on here before but it seemed logical to put the answer where the question is! She is indeed a Peruvian Posey, but I have recently found out that she has been re-haired. My suspicions about the authenticity of her hair had been growing and I finally got the courage to yank her head off.
When I first got her from eBay about 6 years ago the hair was dusty/dirty and slightly faded at the front so I had assumed it was genuine. The seller I bought her from said she herself had bought her from eBay 6 years previous. Unfortunately the re-hair was not mentioned, although I am guessing the seller I bought from did not know. This means that she would have been re-haired at least 10-12 years ago.
She is currently up for sale on eBay, although unfortunately I won't get back what I paid for her!
