Izzy is a carefree and excitable unicorn from Bridlewood Forest. She loves creative projects like "uni-cyling" (unicorn upcycling).

The two of them soon became fast friends, assuring each other they would look out for each other as they traveled to Zephyr Heights. There they befriended pegasus princess Zipp Storm and, later, her sister Pipp Petals, but not before being stopped by paranoid pegasus guard that put a tennis ball on her horn in order to quell her unicorn powers. Sunny's childhood friend Hitch Trailblazer also joined them and despite Hitch and Pipp's initial skepticism, all five ponies became friends. The ponies thought that reuniting the three ancient crystals would restore magic to Equestria.
But in the end it was opening their respective communities to acceptance and friendship towards other ponies that actually brought back magic.
During their adventure, Izzy displayed her crafting skills by whipping up a macaroni-art duplicate of Queen Haven's crown and by creating fake horns for her friends so they would fit right in as they searched Bridlewood for the unicorn crystal. After magic returned, Izzy celebrated with the other ponies and helped straighten up Maretime Bay, which had become disheveled during Hitch's absence.
Afterwords she would move into the Crystal Brighthouse with Sunny, Pipp, Zipp and later, Misty Brightdawn. She also opened a traveling repair cart called Izzy Does It.
She represents the element of Creativity.

The purple in her mane is lighter than the Crystal Adventure version of Izzy. You can also tell them apart by looking at the inside of the mane; Royal Gala Izzy's mane plastic is cast in multiple colors, while Crystal Adventures Izzy's mane is cast totally in blue with the other colors painted on.
