Basil:
Basil is the name of the dragon who played a minor part in My Little Pony Tales episode Slumber Party that the pony Squire in Patch’s story has to tame in order to become a knight. It is Squire’s Father who tells Squire that for him to be a Knight he must tame a dragon and not just any dragon, a dragon named Basil and Squire’s father also tells Squire where Basil lives which is in the deepest darkest part of the forest, in a cave. Squire never gets to tame Basil as the dragon burns a hole in the floor and Squire falls right in. The dragon is then never to be seen again.
