Early DVDs
Promotional DVDs
Small DVD discs were released with some of the early G4 brushables. These discs are about 3" across.
With the Crystal Empire series of singles for Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Twilight Sparkle, a regular sized DVD of "The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000" (season 2 episode 15) with a purple border was released.
Season DVDs (by Shout! Factory)
Unfortunately, not all seasons of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic made it onto officially released DVDs. Shout! Factory released the first seven seasons on compiled DVDs.

Inserts and Extras
The distributor codes that can be found on the spine of the DVD cases are also printed on the discs (at the end of the paragraph of information) and the inserts on one side, so if you have an insert and are not sure which DVD it is from, look for the code (SF #####).
