King of the Lava Demons, Lavan was the main antagonist of the My Little Pony 'n Friends story arc, The Quest of the Princess Ponies. Commanding power over lava and always speaking in a loud, booming voice, he sought out the power of the Princess Ponies' magic wands. Obtaining them transformed him into a powerful crystalline being but it also threw all of Ponyland's magic out of control. He was eventually destroyed when Megan and the Princess Ponies managed to recharge the wands' power in the Heart of Ponyland and his attempt to attack them again was reflected back on him.
