Year Two brought a variety of new pony friends to the line with more color and new poses. Consumers were introduced to the first unicorns, pegasus ponies, sea ponies, and the very first baby pony. Year Two also presented the first My Little Pony playsets. The introduction of the Rainbow Ponies established the set release model of two earth ponies, two unicorns, and two pegasus ponies that the line would follow for a few years.
